About

Meet Kim

I am a loving mother, daughter, sister and yogi offering support as an accredited Counsellor located in the Northern Rivers, Bundjalung Country.

I create a safe therapeutic environment for clients to feel fully seen and heard in their experience, without judgement or expectation.

I hold a Bachelor of Counselling and am committed to ongoing learning and exploration of both traditional and contemporary therapeutic modalities.

My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed and draws on somatic and attachment-focused therapies, polyvagal theory, nervous system regulation strategies, internal family systems, focusing and self-inquiry.

I believe true change comes from deepening our awareness of our experiences, beliefs and inner narratives, and being open to exploring how these show up in us emotionally, relationally and physically.

I love to foster a sense of curiosity, compassion and occasional humour in navigating life and how we make sense of our complex individual worlds.

I have experience working with individual clients and groups from varying backgrounds and ages. My career has specialised in Complex PTSD trauma recovery, treatment for illicit substance use, mental health care and developmental psychology with children and parents. I work collaboratively with clients to tailor individual sessions with a focus on body, mind and spirit to help you meet your unique needs.

“Rarely, if ever, are any of us healed in isolation.”
